Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel fell in his home yesterday and injured his face.

Maulana Imran Bashir took to twitter to shed light on the whole incident.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “I just had a telephonic conversation with Moulana Tariq Jameel Sahab. Due to his fall he suffered injuries and bled for 2 hours,” he tweeted.

He further added: “As his condition is critical now I would request all Muslim community to pray for his health and speedy recovery.”

Moulana Sahab is a beacon of hope for the whole Muslim community, May Allah grant him health and let him be a symbol of hope for all who look up to him.”

Earlier, the internet was on fire ever since renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil was unfortunately forced to apologise for highlighting a mere fact that media spreads false and fake news.

While some social media users sided with the journalist community, a huge number of people emerged to support the religious scholar, while condemning the television anchors like Muhammad Maalick and Hamid Mir who pointed fingers at Maulana Tariq Jamil for calling media ‘liars’, and even demanding an apology from the anchors for insulting and humiliating the religious scholar.
