Senior PPP leader and former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani talking exclusively to 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan should show some patience while regretting Imran Khan's anti-State statement.

Gilani termed the PTI chairman's remarks ‘most irresponsible statement’.

Yousaf Raza Gilani said, “If verdicts are in favour of Imran Khan then it’s all fine otherwise Imran Khan always becomes impatient.”

Gilani reiterated that no-confidence motion was presented in the National Assembly as per the Constitution.

Not a single MNA of PTI gave a vote against Imran Khan in the no-confidence motion then why so much anger about it? Gilani questioned.

Earlier in the day, speaking on the floor of the Senate, Yousaf Raza Gilani said that the PPP had always raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad even when the leadership faced imprisonment.

He said that party leadership always showed respect for the judiciary and state institutions.
