CJP approves reconstitution of Committee for Enhancing Environmental Justice
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Yahya Afridi has approved the reconstitution of the Committee for Enhancing Environmental Justice to ensure environmental protection, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The chief justice okayed the reconstitution of the eight-member committee under the chairmanship of Justice Shafi Siddiqui.
Supreme Court judge Justice Ali Baqir Najafi and Lahore High Court judge Justice Muhammad Sajid Mahmood will be its members.
Other members included Justice Jawad from the Sindh High Court, Justice Aamir Nawaz Rana from the Balochistan High Court, and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir from the Islamabad High Court.
Justice Syed Mudassar and Justice Muhammad Naeem will represent the Peshawar High Court.
