Gold prices in Pakistan witness substantial hike
Gold prices in Pakistan as well as global market witnessed a substantial increase on Monday, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
Gold prices jumped by $59 in the global market to touch $3,347 per ounce.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs5,900, bringing the new rate to Rs353,100.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs5,058 to reach Rs302,726, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold saw a jump of Rs. 4,636, settling at Rs. 277,508.
In contrast, silver prices remained unchanged. The rate for one tola of 24-karat silver stayed steady at Rs. 3,456, and 10 grams stood firm at Rs. 2,962. International silver prices held unchanged as well, recorded at $32.98 per ounce.
