'I am absolutely fine': Tahira Syed responds to viral death rumours
Pakistani music legend Tahira Syed has dismissed the viral social media reports about her death.
The veteran ghazal and folk singer released a video statement to reassure fans that she is alive, healthy and doing well.
Addressing the rumors directly, Tahira Syed said that reports about her health were completely baseless and urged people not to believe fake news being spread online.

The clarification came after social media posts began circulating with claims about the singer's death.
Following her statement, fellow artists and fans also shared her video message to help counter the misinformation.

Currently residing in New York, Tahira Syed confirmed that she is healthy and living peacefully.
Born in Lahore in 1958, Tahira Syed is regarded as one of Pakistan's most celebrated ghazal and folk singers.
The daughter of legendary singer Malika Pukhraj, she built a distinguished career through her memorable performances on PTV and her renditions of folk songs and ghazals in Urdu, Punjabi, Dogri and Pahari languages.
