Karachi University teachers' protest and boycott of exams are likely to end after talks with officers of Higher Education Commission (HEC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

It has been decided to form a committee headed by Chairman HEC.

One representative each of teachers, officers and employees, Secretary HEC, Secretary University and Board will be members of the committee.

The committee will review the demands of teachers, officers and employees within 40 days and ensure this solution.

Teachers and employees protested at Karachi University regarding payment of house sale leave encashment and evening dues.

Teachers said positive talks have been held with HEC representatives and hopefully our demands will be accepted soon.
