Sister defends Iqra Aziz after hater targets her marriage

Pakistani actress Iqra Aziz's sister, Sidra Aziz, has responded after a social media user claimed that the actress's career suffered following her marriage to actor and director Yasir Hussain.

The discussion began when an X user commented that Iqra Aziz was once on the path to becoming a major television diva but lost the chance after getting married.

Sidra Aziz stepped in to defend her sister and urged people not to make assumptions about someone else's life.

She pointed out that Iqra has continued to work on major projects while also balancing her family life.

In her response, Sidra revealed that Iqra had filmed a Netflix series and is currently reviewing scripts before beginning a new project soon.

She also highlighted that the actress is spending time with her children while carefully planning her next professional move.

Sidra later shared another message criticizing the growing trend of creating narratives about celebrities based on speculation rather than facts.

She stated that people need to stop inventing stories about others and presenting assumptions as reality.

Interestingly, the Netflix project mentioned by Sidra is believed to be Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, Pakistan's first original Netflix series.

Based on the novel by Farhat Ishtiaq and directed by Momina Duraid, the highly anticipated series features an ensemble cast including Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Maya Ali, Sanam Saeed, Hania Aamir and Iqra Aziz.
