Excavation work at Sindh’s archaeological site Moomal Ji Mari begins
The archaeology department has started excavation work at Moomal Ji Mari, Sindh's archaeological site in Ghotki, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to archaeology experts, on the story of Moomal and Rano's love, archaeologists are excavating Momal Ki Mari and hoping to uncover historical secrets.
The ancient history of Moomal Mari is being examined in depth by cultural heritage and archaeological evidence, experts said.
This is the second major excavation to be carried out at Moomal Mari. The previous excavation was carried out in 2019, experts further said.
Experts said that important historical evidence was also discovered during the excavation in 2019.
Now a team of experts is trying to go deeper and discover the hidden secrets of this place.
Moomal Mari is a historical and cultural identity of Sindh and is also attributed to the famous romantic story "Moomal Rano."
