Inflation will continue to decline in coming months: Asad

Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar has said that inflation in Pakistan has been showing a sharp decline for the last three months.
This trend would continue in the months to come, he said in a tweet. He said that Consumer Price Index fell to 8.5 percent last month, which is the third successive month of a sharp decline in inflation, with CPI dropping by more than six percent in the last three months.

With a sharp decrease in petroleum prices, this month's inflation would be lower too, the minister for planning, development and special initiatives added.
