The Metrological Department has said a rain-wind thunderstorm is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan on Tuesday.

It foresaw heavy falls/hailstorms likely in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and northern Punjab. However, dry weather is expected in other parts of the country.

As per the Synoptic Situation, a westerly wave is affecting the upper and central parts of the country. 

Rain/thunderstorms hit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, upper/central Punjab, Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and isolated falls/hailstorms lashed Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and northern Punjab on Monday. The weather remained dry in other parts of the country.
