Saudi Arabia bans children under 15 years from performing Hajj
Saudi Arabia has imposed an immediate ban on all children from across the world, including Pakistan, who are under 15 years of age from performing this year’s Hajj, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Saudi Arabian government also informed all the relevant departments and issued a written notification to Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs and private Hajj operators.
Accordingly, Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) also announced that from May 3, 2026, children under the age of 15 years will not be allowed to travel for Hajj.
The PAA further stated that visas of all these children are being cancelled and Saudi officials have assured them that their amounts will be refunded.
The PAA has already advised all officials to restrict all such passengers from boarding the flight for performing Hajj.
Pakistan Airport Authority also advised all the airlines not to issue tickets to children under 15 years for Hajj.
