Bilawal grills PM Khan for making false’ promises to GB people

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Monday said Prime Minister Imran Khan has only announced ‘false’ promises with the Gilgit Baltistan people and voters will cast their ballot in favour of PPP on November 15, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Bilawal said Imran Khan spoke only lies and made only false promises with the people Gilgit Baltistan people. “When PPP will make government in GB, the PPP will increase salaries of government officers and also start Benazir Income Support Program (BISP),” Bilawal assured the Ghizar people.

Bilawal Bhutto was addressing a political gathering at Taus village in Tehsil Yasin of District Ghizar on Monday.

The PPP Chairperson said it is regrettable that till this date GB people have not been given the benefit of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Bilawal promised the Gilgit Baltistan to provide benefits of CPEC to Gilgit Baltistan.

PPP Chairperson said: “CPEC is only because of Gwadar and Gilgit Baltistan and PPP will not allow anyone to change the CPEC.”

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said PPP always strived to provide jobs to this region. Praising the PPP jialas in Ghizar, he said these workers kept the party alive in the Ghizr area. Bilawal said: “Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto abolished the Frontier Crimes Regulations (FCR) from Gilgit Baltistan.”

Bilawal Bhutto said that some people are talking today of a separate province of Gilgit Baltistan but the PPP is striving for a separate province for the people of GB for a long time and had included this demand of the people of GB in its 2018 election manifesto.

Bilawal said Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto liberated the people of GB from FCR and afterwards liberated the people of GB from poverty and hunger.
