Senator Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui, spokesperson for the Sindh government, says that 13-year-old Arzoo Raja, who recently converted to Islam from Christianity apparently out of her free will, has been recovered and shifted to a shelter home. 

Murtaza Wahab, who is also adviser to the Sindh chief minister on law and environment and deputy information secretary of the Sindh chapter of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), tweeted, “Happy to inform everyone that Arzoo has been recovered just now. 

“Today the Sindh High Court, on the application filed by #SindhGovt, has ordered police to locate #Arzoo within 5 days and shift her to a shelter home.”
