Lahore-Islamabad train service resumes after govt, TLP accord

Lahore-Islamabad train service has been resumed, followed by the announcement made by Pakistan Railways, after the government and the religious party Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) inked an agreement successfully, reported 24NewsHD TV on Tuesday.
The situation in Lahore and other cities adjacent to GT Road has now improved after several days of the protest of the TLP and passengers’ rushed to the train stations soon after the situation returned to normal.
On the other hand, the main GT road near Wazirabad has yet to be restored, there are ditches around the Chenab Bridge.
