Couple killed in Khairpur car-truck collision

A couple died in a road accident in Khairpur district of Sindh province, 24 News HD TV Channel reported.
The tragedy took place on Tehri bypass when a car rammed into a truck, killing car riders Saeed Ahmed and his wife Firdous.
The bodies have been shifted to Civil Hospital in Khairpur. Police arrested the driver and confiscated the truck.
Reportedly, the car riders were going to Karachi from Sukkur. The accident was blamed on the car driver and speeding is cited as the reason. Police said an investigation is on.
Motorcyclist crushed to death
A man was killed while his brother sustained serious wounds in a road accident in Okara.
Two motorcyclists were on their whey when a tractor trolley ran over their motorcycle, leaving one rider dead and injuring his brother seriously.
The deceased was identified as Khalid Khokhar. According to eyewitnesses, the tractor-trolley driver is responsible for the accident as he was speeding.
Meanwhile, a passenger bus fell off the motorway near the Jalalpur interchange, leaving 9 people injured.
One of the injured is reported critical and shifted to Multan Nishtar Hospital.
The accident happened when the driver fell asleep. According to the rescuers, the passenger bus was going from Karachi to Rawalpindi.
