10 hostages rescued by CIA and AVCC in Karachi

Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) and Anti Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) conducted successful operation and rescued 10 hostages which were abducted from different areas of Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the police officials, the AVCC police started working on these kidnapped persons on August 27, 2025. During this time, various zone voice teams were formed to supervise the operation and investigation, whom by working on technical grounds and human intelligence rescued the abducted hostages safely from different areas of Karachi.

According to police, the rescued hostages include 10 people, including 3 girls. The hostages are identified as, Abdul Moeez, Asghar Ali, Musa, Ayaan, Muhammad Rehan, Muhammad Muzammil, Muhammad Shaban and the girls are identified as Tania, Alisha and Humna Naz.

SSP Asif Raza said that during the operation, they also arrested 3 suspects. According to police officials, these kidnappers are identified as, Muhammad Rashid, Muhammad Akhtar and Dikshan alias Ali. The investigation is ongoing with the arrested suspects, further revelations are expected.
