Jannat Mirza’s vague reply to fan’s question about marriage sparks buzz

Jannat Mirza has given a cryptic response to a fan’s question about her marriage plans.

During a Q&A session on Instagram Stories, the social media star was asked about marriage.

A fan wrote, “Waiting for your wedding … can’t wait to see the most beautiful bride.”

In response, Jannat chose not to give a direct answer and instead dropped a series of kiss emojis,  leaving millions of her followers guessing.

The vague reply quickly spread across fan pages, sparking speculation about whether the star is hinting at something in the near future or simply playing coy.

Known as Pakistan’s most-followed TikTok star, Jannat Mirza landed herself in hot water after showing off lavish glimpses from her Hajj journey to Saudi Arabia.

Mirza, who was accompanied by her parents and sister Alishba Anjum, posted a series of stories before departing for Hajj. Among them, a video showcasing what appeared to be an empty plane caught widespread attention and backlash.

In the then viral clip, Jannat gave a brief tour of the Saudi Airlines aircraft, captioning it: “We had the whole plane to ourselves.”

While some followers extended warm wishes for her pilgrimage, others questioned the intent behind flaunting the luxury of what seemed like a private flight.

Netizens suggested that the flight wasn’t actually private, but rather captured before boarding was complete, as business class passengers are typically allowed to board first.

Some argued that with flight scheduling knowledge, it is sometimes possible to end up on sparsely filled planes without having to charter one entirely. Still, the backlash was intense.

Many questioned the family's source of income and whether such a show of extravagance was appropriate for a religious journey rooted in humility and spiritual reflection.

In response to the criticism, Jannat clarified that the last time she had seen such an empty flight was during the COVID-19 era. However, she did not confirm whether the family had booked the entire aircraft or not.

The episode had triggered a broader discussion about social media influencers blending personal branding with religious observance, and whether such displays dilute the sanctity of spiritual undertakings like Hajj.
