Sannia Ashfaq highlights Shoaib Malik’s family values amid marital fallout
Social media personality Sannia Ashfaq, former wife of Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim has come to the defense of former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik after a social media user compared the two cricketers amid their respective marital controversies.
A viral comment surfaced on social media in which a user drew a parallel between the two cricketers, writing, “Imad Waseem and Shoaib Malik same same no difference.”
Responding from her official handle, Sannia Ashfaq strongly disagreed and defended Shoaib Malik, saying, “Stop comparing him to Shoaib Malik bhai. Whatever happened in his marriage, Shoaib bhai still shows up for his child. That’s called having family values.”
Sannia’s response comes against the backdrop of her highly publicized marital fallout with Imad Wasim. She has recently spoken publicly about the breakdown of their marriage, making a series of allegations concerning marital betrayal, abandonment during her pregnancy and Imad’s relationship with influencer Nyla Raja. She has also expressed concerns about his involvement in the lives of their three children.
The comparison between Imad Wasim and Shoaib Malik appears to have emerged amid the public scrutiny surrounding both cricketers’ personal lives. Shoaib Malik faced widespread attention following the end of his marriage to Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and his subsequent marriage to actress Sana Javed.
