Three injured over drinking water dispute in Matyari school

A violent clash erupted between students over drinking water at a government boys’ high school in Hala, leaving two students and the father of one student injured, on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

Police reached the school and brought the situation under control. Sticks and axes were reportedly used during the clash, resulting in injuries to the students and the student's father. The injured were shifted to local Hospital Hala for medical treatment.

Meanwhile, teachers staged a sit-in on Dargah Road to protest the incident, alleging a lack of security at the school. The protest disrupted the flow of traffic.

The protesting teachers demanded the immediate arrest of those who allegedly entered the school and carried out the attack.

Police assured the protesters that action would be taken against the individuals involved in accordance with the law.
