PPP MNA questions commitment of political party to Balochistan
PPP MNA Jamal Raisani on Thursday asked how those MNAs who remained silent during a debate on the Balochistan issue in the National Assembly (NA) were now participating in sit-ins in Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He also questioned the commitment of a political party, whose delegation had headed to Mastung to participate in a sit-in, to the rights of the people of the province. “These people are now shedding crocodile tears. But when it comes to their participation in debates in the House, they remain tightlipped. They utter not a word on the Balochistan issue,” he added.
The MNA also wondered that a political party, whose founder had called families of the martyred people of Hazara community blackmailers while he was the country’s prime minister, was now raising its voice for Balochistan.
Raisani went on to say that now when there was a new wave of terrorism in the province, there should be no politics on the issue. “It is high time we all took the issue seriously.”
