Gold adds Rs3,400 per-tola rise in its price in Pakistan

The prices of gold witnessed a significant increase on Friday with the price of 24-karat gold per-tola rising by Rs3,400 to reach Rs490,362 as compared to Rs486,962 on the previous day.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs2,915 to Rs420,406 from Rs417,491, whereas the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs2,673 to Rs385,386 from Rs382,713.

The price of gold in the international market increased by $34 to $4,676 from $4,642, the association reported.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per-tola increased by Rs160 to Rs7,794 from Rs7,634, while that of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs138 to Rs6,682 from Rs6,544.

The price of silver in the international market also increased by $1.60 to $73.10 from $71.50, the association reported.
