PDM leaders to again meet today to discuss PTI funding case

Leaders of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), an alliance of political parties currently forming a coalition government at Center, will again meet today (Wednesday) at the Prime Minister House to discuss future course of action after the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) verdict in the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) foreign funding case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Quoting its sources in the PDM, the channel reported that issues like filing a reference against the PTI would come under discussion at the party leaders’ huddle today.
The committees, formed under Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNA Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah, would separately give their recommendations on the subject, they disclosed.
Apart from that, sources added, Ministry of Interior would also brief the participants on the progress made in the PTI foreign funding case.
The meeting would also mull putting the names of PTI leaders, including the party Chairman Imran Khan, on the Exit Control List (ECL).
Sources informed that following the meeting, the PDM leaders would also brief media men about the issues discussed.
