Former VC of Islamia University Bahawalpur Dr Athar Mehboob has been barred from going to the US, sources in FIA said

The FIA Immigration Karachi refrained ex-VC from going abroad on the orders of the high-ups, the insiders said.

The former vice-chancellor has been barred from going abroad in connection with the ongoing probe into the Bahawalpur varsity sex tape scandal, they added.

Dr Athar Mehboob stepped down as the varsity VC on July 25.
