Man dies as signboard falls on him during rain in Lahore

A man died when a signboard fell on him during torrential rain in the Gujarpura area of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to rescue officials, the incident occurred in C-Block near Ladies Park in the China Scheme.

On receiving information about the incident, Rescue 1122 officials reached the spot, retrieved the body of the deceased, and shifted it to a nearby hospital.

Earlier, heavy rain occurred in different areas of Lahore, including Jail Road, Mall Road, Shimla Hill, Kot Lakhpat, DHA, and other areas.
