Rain triggers traffic mayhem on Swat’s Matta-Mingora Road

Ongoing rain-triggered weather changes have led to a complete traffic jam on the Swat's Matta–Mingora Road, causing immense trouble for commuters, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Long queues of vehicles were seen piled up as no administrative officials were present to regulate the traffic flow.

The situation worsened as sick and elderly passengers remained trapped inside their vehicles for hours.

Local residents expressed deep frustration, stating, “Officials who fail to serve the public must be held accountable.”

The absence of traffic police or administrative response has sparked public outrage, with calls for immediate government action to avoid future paralysis on key roads during weather emergencies.
