Pakistani actor Fahad Sheikh has once again caught the internet's attention after sharing a cryptic Instagram Story about forgiveness and betrayal, just weeks after his name dominated headlines over a widely discussed workplace controversy involving veteran actor Syed Mohammed Ahmed.
Taking to his Instagram account, Fahad reshared a video carrying a reflective message about forgiveness and memories that linger.
The clip featured a man saying:
"We may forgive everyone, but perhaps we can never forget them neither those who stood by us nor those who stabbed us in the back."
The story was accompanied by the bold text:
"forgiveness is easy, forgetting never is."
Although Fahad did not mention anyone by name or provide any context, the post quickly fueled speculation among social media users, many linking it to the recent controversy that surrounded the actor.
The reaction comes after Fahad Sheikh faced widespread criticism following the circulation of a behind the scenes video in which he was allegedly seen mocking veteran actor, writer, and industry stalwart Syed Mohammed Ahmed on the set of a drama.
The viral clip showed Fahad using a handheld fan to jokingly imitate blow drying the veteran actor's bald head while making remarks about his appearance, as others present on set laughed. The footage sparked significant backlash across social media, with many calling the behavior disrespectful and inappropriate.
Several celebrities also condemned the incident. Actor Hassan Ahmed criticised the alleged behavior, saying it reflected a lack of respect and class, while veteran actress Noor Bukhari demanded accountability from not only those involved but also those who stood by laughing. Senior actress Bushra Ansari also expressed disappointment over the reported treatment of an industry veteran.
As criticism intensified, Fahad Sheikh later issued a public apology to Syed Mohammed Ahmed, acknowledging that what he had considered light-hearted humour had crossed the line. He expressed regret over his actions and apologised for causing hurt.
Following the apology, senior actor Faysal Quraishi urged the public to let the matter rest, encouraging people to move forward after Fahad accepted responsibility for his conduct.
