IHC building not being shifted right now: Law Minister Tarar

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar inaugurated the new building of Islamabad High Court Bar Association on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

Elected officials of the Islamabad High Court Bar Association welcomed the two guests. A large number of lawyers attended the opening ceremony and described the establishment of the new building as a significant milestone for the bar and judicial community. 

Addressing the ceremony, Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar said that the news of shifting of Islamabad High Court building is fake as after due confirmation from the Prime Minister, he announced that lawyers should enjoy there is no shifting of the IHC building.

He said when the time comes for shifting, the judiciary will be brought on board and a decision will be made after consulting everyone.

Law Minister said he will request Interior Minister and the Prime Minister to give the bar a plot in G-11 where Bar will build a basement for parking and they will build it yourself with the help of Chambers Bar.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on the occasion said that if any person advocates for lawyers, his name is Azam Nazeer Tarar. Naqvi said whether it was a cabinet meeting or a Prime Minister's meeting or any other discussion, Azam Nazeer talk about lawyers everywhere.

Mohsin Naqvi said, “If anyone is a true lawyer for you people, it is Law Minister who is working for the welfare of the lawyers fraternity”.
