Sindh govt launches crackdown on petrol pumps selling less quantity of petrol

The government of Sindh has decided to get tough with the petrol pumps’ owners not selling petrol to consumers in full quantities, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The Department of Price and Dispatch has decided to launch a crackdown on such petrol pumps in two districts of Karachi from today.

In a letter written to the director general and the controller price and dispatch, the department has directed them to secretly measure petrol and diesel at pumps in district East and district South of the port city.

They have also been directed to use an equipment for measurement, and fine and seal the petrol pumps of those who dodge the consumers.
