7 soldiers martyred, 13 terrorists killed in Naushki, Panjgur attacks

As many as seven soldiers were martyred and 13 terrorists were killed in security forces’ operations during terror attacks in Naushki and Panjgur, said ISPR in a statement released on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

After successfully repulsing terrorist attacks at Panjgur and Naushki Wednesday night, security forces carried out a clearance operation to hunt down terrorists hiding in the area. 

In Naushki, security forces encountered and killed five more terrorists bringing the tally to nine terrorists killed in the town. Four brave soldiers also embraced shahadat including an officer while repulsing this attack.

At Panjgur, the security forces operation was continuing to eliminate fleeing terrorists.

Four terrorists have so far been killed at Panjgur while at least 4/5 are encircled by the security forces. During intense fighting three soldiers embraced shahadat and four were injured.

As per initial investigation, intelligence agencies have intercepted communications between terrorists and their handlers in Afghanistan and India.
