An eighty-year-old man Muhammad Afzal was set ablaze by his neighbour over a petty verbal exchange in Alipur on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The victim was rushed to the Rural Health Centre Alipur for treatment whose 65 percent body was burned.

The victim made a statement and alleged that he just asked his neighbours to remove the woods from his land but the simple talk turned into an unexpected incident which led to his setting on fire.

The police registered an FIR in Seetpur police station and started further investigation.
