Nawaz Sharif promises jobs for everyone, Orange Line in Faisalabad at election rally

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has listed the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s feats during his rule in his address at an election rally in Faisalabad.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, he delivered his address in Urdu, Punjab and English. He thanked his supporters for showing up at the rally.

Nawaz Sharif announced the Orange Line project for Faisalabad, saying: “Shahbaz Sharif has just brought in the metro bus, Faisalabad should have Orange Line too.

“I love you to Faisalabad. I have no words to thank you Faisalabad. I have never seen such a zeal at Dhobi Ghat.

“Everyone here wants to see the Orange Line in Faisalabad.

“Some people said that they will bring one crore jobs

“After five years, there will be no unemployment here.

Shehbaz Sharif Sahib, I should not see anyone unemployed here after five years,

“There are motorways on the right and left sides of Faisalabad

“Faisalabad people tell me how many motorways are needed?

“Faisalabad people showed their love and respect to Chaudhry Sher Ali by showing up at the rally:”

He described former interior minister Rana Sana as his best companion, saying: “Rana Sanaullah is the best companion. He keeps the word.

“Rana Sanaullah is Nawaz Sharif's loyal and the best companion.”

He added: “Mian Farooq is my old companion.  Talal Chaudhry remained loyal to me.”

“We will bring back the era when roti’s price was Rs4

“Petrol was at Rs 65 per litre and sugar was at Rs50 per kg

“Vegetables were at Rs 10 per kg. The gold was at Rs50, 000 per tola

“Everything needed in our rule was at a low price. People remember those were the days.

“We put an end to load-shedding. They were staging sit-ins, we were purging terrorism.

“Had our government not been toppled, no one would have been unemployed.

“We will win on February 8. 

“Congratulations to Rana Sanaullah, Chaudhry Sher Ali and all the leadership, we will win on February 8.

“Long live Pakistan!”

'Development of Faisalabad is the development of Pakistan'

In her address, Nawaz's daughter Maryam Nawaz said:  "I salute the lions and lionesses of Faisalabad. I have never seen as much passion as seen in Faisalabad."

She heaped praise on Rana Sanaullah and Talal Chaudhry for standing by the party.

She said the development of Faisalabad is the development of Pakistan. 

"If the industry of Faisalabad runs, the industry of Pakistan runs.

She stressed: "We don't do politics of blame-game and backbiting. The PML-N does not do politics of hurling abuse at others.

"PML-N doest the politics of service and performance. No one can compete with it

She added: "Nawaz Sharif was expelled three times. Despite all odds, Nawaz Sharif never put national security at stake. A lion will not lose to anyone.

"I am cutting my address short due to time constraints. I salute the people of Faisalabad."

During the address of the PML-N leaders, their supporters kept shouting slogans in their favour.
