14 injured as vehicle carrying Afghan family overturns near Landi Kotal

At least 14 people, including three women and 11 children, were injured when a vehicle carrying an Afghan family overturned on the Torkham Road near Landi Kotal on Tuesday.

According to local sources, the family was returning to Afghanistan after completing registration at the Landi Kotal Transit Camp when the accident occurred. The vehicle reportedly lost control and overturned, causing injuries to the passengers.

Rescue teams and local residents rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to the District Headquarters Hospital, Landi Kotal, for medical treatment.

Hospital administration officials said that all the injured are out of danger and are receiving necessary medical care.
