Maulana Fazl says PDM is striving to end ‘illegal occupation’ of Islamabad
A large number of party workers gathered at Saraiki Chowk to listen to their leaders. Maryam Nawaz, Fazlur Rehman, Gillani and other PDM leaders came down hard on the PTI-led government over the current inflation in the country.
Gilani flying high
PPP senior leader and former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani joint the convoy of Maryam Nawaz while it was travelling to Karachi Morr.
Yousaf Raza Gilani was lucky enough to be invited to join the PML-N vice-president on top of the container she was travelling on and charging the PDM crowd moving along the container at snail’s pace.
Gilani earlier reached Bahawalpur through a special plane which took off from Multan. Makhdoom Ahmad Mahmood accompanied him during the flight.

She asked the crowd to accompany her container to the Seraik Chowk where the leaders will address the rally.
PDM sticking to its stance: Fazl
PDM President and JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman has said that the Movement is striving to get vacated Islamabad from “illegal occupation” as it is not anyone’s property, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He said resignations have been the leaders of the parties and resignations phase has yet to come. “People exaggerate any change in the policy,” he added.
He said Bahawalpur rally is going to be tremendous and historic.
Maryam first at Karachi Morr
A large number of the PDM workers followed Maryam as her convoy travelled toward the Karachi Morr.

Maryam Nawaz will also visit Channar House where a camel will be sacrificed and pigeons will be set free when she will reach there.
A large number of activists has already reached Channar House where JUI workers have assumed the security duty.
A heavy contingent of police and other high-ups have deployed at Seraikhi Chowk where the PDM rally will culminate. All the roads leading to the Seraikhi Chowk including Model Town, Fawara Chowk and Railway Station have been closed for traffic and commuters.
Drivers threatened in ‘Containerpur’
Containers have also been installed at leading roads including on Bahawalnagar Road, Ahmadpur Road and Lodhran Road after which the city gave a look of ‘Containerpur’.
The drivers have expressed their concerns after their containers were seized by the police. They said the police threatened to lock them up if they do not obey them by staying in the city till 9:00pm.
PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has already arrived in Bahawalpur where she along with Captain Safdar, Azma Bukhari and Marriyum Aurangzeb stayed at the residence of PML-N Bahawalpur Vice-President Saood Majeed. The PML-N leaders also had breakfast at Saood’s house.

PDM President and JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman and PPP leader and former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani will reach Bahawalpur shortly from Multan in convoys.
Govt’s days numbered: Rana Sana
Speaking to the media men in Bahawalpur’s Seraiki Chowk, PML-N stalwart Rana Sanaullah said Bahawalpur Deputy Commissioner did not grant permission for the PDM rally. “What else the poor chap can do,” he added.

He maintained that the security alert about the rally was issued to scare away the people
He said the people who are talking about cancelling the passport of PML-Q Quaid Nawaz Sharif will eat their words soon. He accused the local administration of removing the PDM’s boardings, banners and posters, and they are also framing false cases against their workers.
Rana Sana said PDM rally to prove a no-confidence in the fake government. “Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his government’s days are numbered,” he added.
Responding to a question, he said rallies are the part of the second phase of PDM protests. “It is not essential for all the PDM leaders to participate in every rally, that is whey PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is not coming today,” he added.
