Banking Court judge Zeba Ch made OSD on IHC order

On the directives of Islamabad High Court Chief Justice, District and Sessions Judge Zeba Chaudhry has been made OSD, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

According to a notification issued on Saturday, Judge Zeba Chaudhry has been transferred to Islamabad High Court and made OSD. Grade 21 Judge Zeba Chaudhry was currently working as a judge of the Special Banking Court. 

With the approval of Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar, the Registrar issued a notification.

It is pertinent to mention that PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan had criticised then Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADSJ) Zeba Chaudhry in August 2022 — who had approved PTI leader Shahbaz Gill’s physical remand in a sedition case. On the orders of Islamabad High Court, the former PM Imran Khan had appeared before the court and tendered apology over his remarks against the woman judge.
