Pakistan ready to export skilled manpower to Japan, says Bilawal

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday said that Islamabad wanted to further strengthen its relationship with Tokyo and is ready to export skilled manpower to Japan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a joint presser along with his Japanese counterpart Hayashi Yoshimasa in Tokyo, Bilawal Bhutto said that this was his maiden visit to Japan and that the people of Pakistan had good feelings for the people of Japan.
The foreign minister said that his country wanted to expand cooperation with Japan in trade and other sectors.
He said that Pakistan could provide manpower to Japan.
The FM said that his government was grateful to the government of Japan for assisting the flood victims of Pakistan.
Bilawal said during his stay in Japan, he would talk to the representatives of private sector because it could play its role in further promoting relations between the two countries.
Bilawal said Pakistan and Japan have agreed to further deepen their bilateral cooperation in diverse fields including trade, investment and information technology.

The foreign minister said the two sides also agreed to enhance cooperation in mutually beneficial people-to-people contacts, human resource development, tourism and agriculture sectors.
Bilawal Bhutto said Pakistan and Japan have further agreed to explore avenues for working together on targeted programmes in domains of solarization, desalination, water purification and rebuilding of housing structure in the flood-affected areas of Pakistan.
The two sides agreed to conduct language skills assessment tests for Japanese language in Pakistan to facilitate export of skilled workforce.
Bilawal said they have also deliberated on scores of joint ventures by Japanese enterprises in Pakistan.

He said Pakistan and Japan have cordial relations and are longstanding friends and share special bond, based on deep-rooted linkages that go far in history and time. He said people of Pakistan carry deep sentiments of warmth and affection for Japan and its people.
The foreign minister said Pakistan attaches high importance to its relationship with Japan as both countries have also stood with each other in times of need.
On the occasion, Bilawal expressed his gratitude to his Japanese counterpart for hosting him and his delegation.

Bilawal meets Japanese PM
Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday also called on Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in Tokyo and discussed with him matters of mutual interests.
The foreign minister conveyed greetings from the Government and people of Pakistan, according to the ministry of foreign office’s spokesperson.
During the meeting, both leaders expressed the desire to further enhance bilateral engagement and cooperation in different fields.
