Man shoots dead father-in-law, two friends in Karachi

In a shocking incident of violence which took place in Orangi Town of Mominabad area in Karachi, a fatal shooting claimed the lives of three men in broad daylight, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sources in the police confided to the TV channel that the incident was the result of a long-running family feud.

The deceased have been identified as Ghiasuddin aka Imran, Gul Bat Khan, and Amin.

The victims were gunned down when Ghiasuddin, accompanied by two of his close friends, visited his daughter’s house.

Police reported that an argument broke out between Ghiasuudin and his son-in-law, Hamid.

The argument eventually turned violent, leading to the opening of intense gunfire, which claimed the lives of all three victims at the scene.

Following the shooting incident, Hamid, the prime suspect, fled the scene.

The police however, in a rapid follow-up operation, took two individuals, including Hamid’s father, Shah Jahan, into their custody.

A 9mm pistol was also recovered from the crime scene.

Sources say that Hamid too had sustained injuries during the intense gunfire exchange.

Currently, investigations remain ongoing while raids are being conducted by the police in order to apprehend the remaining suspects.
