MDCAT exam to be held across country on Oct 5

Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced that MDCAT test will be held on Sunday, October 5, all over the country on the same day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
PDMC was briefing regarding issue of entry test in medical colleges across the country to the National Assembly Standing Committee on National Health meeting.
Chairman standing committee said that irregularities continued in Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University entry test.
Chairman said 50 percent marks should be made mandatory in the entry test.
Chairman Committee said that money flows in Matriculation and FSC, more marks are obtained by paying money.
If the boards are transparent, there is no need for entry test, Chairman said.
