Govt may slash petrol price by Rs 12 per litre

The federal government is likely to slash petrol price by up to Rs 12 per litre while the price of high-speed diesel price may register an increase by Rs 4.22 per litre, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to Petroleum Ministry’s sources, new petroleum prices expected to take effect from July 4. After drop in crude prices in international market there is possibility of cut in oil prices.

The drop in crude oil prices raises expectations of price cut in Pakistan.

Sources said the expected new price of Petrol will be Rs 287.61 per liter and high-speed diesel may touch Rs 315.69 per liter.
