Nasir Madni gets unconscious after heatstroke in Jahanian
The condition of religious scholar is out of danger however, all essential medical tests were being conducted
Religious scholar Nasir Madni has been shifted to Nishtar Hospital, Multan, after becoming unconscious on the stage while delivering a Jumma sermon in Jahanian, Khanewal district, on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
According to hospital sources, Allama Nasir Madni’s health deteriorated due to heatstroke who was shifted to the Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Institute of Cardiology for further treatment.
The condition of Nasir Madni is out of danger however, all essential medical tests were being conducted. He was transferred to the Radiology Department. He will be kept in the hospital for some time.
Nasir Madni made headlines on social media after making unbecoming remarks about actress Momina Iqbal.
The controversy began when Madni made derogatory and scandalous remarks regarding her personal life and alleged relationships, but he later retracted his statements, citing that "daughters are daughters".

Later, religious scholar Nasir Madni publicly apologised to actress Momina Iqbal after she served him with a Rs190 million defamation legal notice.
In a video statement, Madani said that if any of his comments had caused hurt or distress to Momina Iqbal or her family, he sincerely apologised. He added that hurting anyone's feelings was never his intention and therefore chose to offer a public apology. Madni also appealed to women across Pakistan to stand up for one another's dignity and rights. He said that protecting the honour and respect of every daughter of Pakistan is a shared responsibility, adding that "all daughters belong to all of us."
The apology comes days after a video of Madni's remarks about the actress went viral on social media, prompting Momina Iqbal to initiate legal proceedings. According to reports, the legal case was pursued by the actress's sister, Ramsha Iqbal, following which Madni issued his video message expressing regret over his comments.
