Country will be taken back to where it was in 2017, says Nawaz Sharif

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan would be led in the right direction, adding that efforts would be made to take the country back to where it was in 2017, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

While addressing the media outside the London office of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif said: “The 2017 Pakistan was a very good Pakistan. Our effort is to take the country back to where it was in 2017.”

Speaking briefly on the occasion of departure from the office in London, Nawaz Sharif said that may Allah take Pakistan on the right path. The former prime minister said that Pakistan in 2017 was a very good Pakistan.

Nawaz Sharif spent a busy day in the London office of the PML-N. He met PML-N Sindh vice president Mahesh Kumar, former Lahore mayor Colonel (retd) Mubashir, Senator Nehal Hashmi and ex-MNA Tufail Jutt.

During the meeting, the political situation of the country and other issues came under discussion.
