Pakistan and Azerbaijan discuss ways to enhance cooperation in railways

Pakistan Railways officials review proposals for enhancing cooperation between Pakistan and Azerbaijan in the railway sector, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday. 

Minister of State for Railways and Head of the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit (PMDU) Bilal Azhar Kayani called on Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sarvan Jafarov and Chairman of Railways Roshan Rustamov in Baku. 

During the meeting, Chairman Rustamov assured commitment to strengthening ties and exploring bilateral cooperation in the railway sector between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. 

Director General of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), Major General Asad Cheema, also attended the meeting. 

Senior officials from Ministry of Communications, Pakistan Railways, SIFC and National Logistics Cell (NLC) also participated in the meeting.
