‘Please don’t do it’: Noman Habib urges Saba Qamar to reject reported Anmol Pinky biopic
Pakistani actor Noman Habib has sparked discussion online after publicly urging actress Saba Qamar not to take on a reported biopic project based on the life of Anmol Pinky.
Taking to Instagram, Noman Habib shared a poster claiming that Saba Qamar is set to play the lead role in a biographical project on Anmol Pinky under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment and Geo.
The poster featured photographs of both Saba Qamar and Anmol Pinky and quickly gained attention across social media.

In his caption, Noman made it clear that he admires Saba Qamar’s work but expressed reservations about the reported project.
“Saba Qamar, I’m a big fan of yours. I heard reports that, if true, you are doing a biopic on Anmol Pinky. Please don’t do it,” he wrote.
The actor argued that television channels and production houses should focus on stories of individuals whom he considers real heroes and positive role models rather than controversial public figures.

Noman Habib said he does not believe Anmol Pinky should be the subject of a biographical drama and suggested that media platforms should invest in projects highlighting people who have made meaningful contributions to society.
Drawing a comparison with late social media personality Qandeel Baloch, he said that repeated media attention on controversial figures can sometimes influence public perception and lead audiences to view them differently.
“Channels should make projects about our real heroes rather than people like Anmol Pinky or Qandeel Baloch,” he stated.
The actor further expressed concern that dramatized portrayals of controversial personalities could unintentionally glorify their stories in the eyes of some viewers.
Despite his criticism, Noman maintained a respectful tone throughout the post and emphasized that he was only sharing his personal opinion.
“Please, Saba Jee, don’t mind. These are just my personal feelings. I sincerely request that you do not do this project,” he added.
