Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar inaugurated Spring Festival 2020 organised by the Parks and Horticulture Authority at Jilani Park in Lahore on Monday.

Housing Minister Mehmoodur Rasheed, Parks and Horticulture Authority Chairman Yasir Gillani, DG  Muzzafar Khan and senior officials accompanied the CM. 

In his address, the CM listed the PTI feats to maintain law and order to promote art, culture and recreational activities.

He mentioned holding PSL, Kabaddi World Cup and Lahore Biennale, literary festivals, special events at educational institutes across province.

Grant-in-aid for bars

CM Usman Buzdar approved grant-in-aid for lawyer associations in Punjab. 

He announced a convention of lawyer associations in Lahore in the on-going month.

He added a special package for lawyers’ welfare is on the cards.

The CM lashed out at the former rulers for ignoring the public interest.

“Ex-rulers did nothing for public welfare. They remained busy with minting money.”

Also, Law Minister Raja Basharat called on CM Usman Buzdar at the latter’s office.
