Cops in Lahore shoot at youth for failing to stop at check-post

Showing extreme non-professionalism, police in Lahore opened fire at a youth when the latter did not stop his car at a check-post in Shahdara area of the city on Wednesday night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
However, the youth was slightly injured in the incident.
According to reports, cops, manning Saggyan check-post, signaled a car to stop.
However, despite that, the driver, a 22-year-old youth, sped away the car, angering the police personnel who took aim at him and opened fire, consequently injuring his leg.
Taking notice of the incident, DIG Operations suspended SHO Sheikh Wasim Akhtar, in-charge Saggyan check-post, and four other policemen.
