Karachi Kings Friday won the toss and elected to bat first against Islamabad United vie in the 19th match of the eighth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Rawalpindi cricket stadium.

The toss loss was not much bother for Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan as he amused Karachi Kings captain Imad Wasim that he would have wanted to bowl first anyway.

Islamabad United have played five matches in PSL 8 so far, and they remained victorious in three of them.

Karachi Kings have played seven matches in PSL 8 so far. They remained victorious in their two matches against Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans.

On the points table, Karachi Kings rank fifth with four points. A tough competition is likely between the two teams as race to qualify for the eliminators has intensified.
