464 Afghan combatants killed, 188 check posts destroyed in operation Ghazab lil-Haq: Atta Tarar

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Tuesday said that the security forces have killed
464 combatants of the Afghan Taliban regime, destroyed their 188 posts, and captured 31 others during Operation
Ghazab lil-Haq, launched following “unprovoked action” from across the border.

Providing a summary of Afghan Taliban regime’s losses at 16:00 hours, the minister said that over 665 Afghan operatives were injured during Operation Ghazab lil-Haq (Righteous Fury).

Around 192 tanks, armoured vehicles, and artillery guns have also been destroyed during the operation, he added.

The minister noted that around 56 locations across Afghanistan were also targeted by air, effectively.

 On Tuesday, 67 Afghan Taliban terrorists were killed as Pakistan’s security forces thwarted dozens of their physical attacks and fire raids in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Giving an update of Operation Lil Haq on Tuesday, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, in a post on X platform, said that Afghan Taliban resorted to physical attacks on 16 locations in northern Balochistan including in Qilla Saifullah, Noshki and Chaman Districts while engaging our troops on 25 locations in fire raid. 

The attacks at all the locations have been effectively repulsed with Afghan Taliban suffering 27 killed and scores injured, the minister said and added, one soldier of FC Balochistan North gave the ultimate sacrifice while defending the motherland while five soldiers were injured.

In KP, the minister said, physical attack was attempted at one place while fire raid was conducted on 12 locations which were all repulsed without any loss of life. 

“40 Afghan Taliban were killed in the overnight operations in KP,” he said and added “Follow-up operations continued in these areas,” he added.

Afghan Khogani base destroyed in airstrikes

Pakistan’s armed forces have carried out a successful air operation in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province, destroying the Khogani base during Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq.

Security sources confided to the TV channel on Tuesday, both ground and aerial operations by Pakistani forces against the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij are continuing.

The Pakistan Army conducted an airstrike targeting the Khogani base in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province, which officials said had been used by militant elements.

Security sources stated that following unprovoked aggression, the Afghan Taliban and “Fitna al-Khawarij” groups are facing significant setbacks on multiple fronts. They maintained that Pakistani forces are responding decisively across all operational theatres.

Security sources further said that Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq remains underway and will continue until its stated objectives are achieved. The military campaign, they added, is aimed at eliminating militant infrastructure linked to cross-border hostilities.

The latest strike follows operations reported a day earlier, when Pakistan’s armed forces continued effective and decisive retaliatory actions against Afghan Taliban positions and destroyed an ammunition depot and a drone storage facility in Jalalabad.

The channel reported that those strikes were conducted under Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq and were directed at installations described by officials as belonging to “Fitna al-Khawarij” elements.

Sources said Pakistani forces are targeting hideouts and military facilities allegedly associated with militants involved in cross-border attacks.
