JUI urges govt to adopt clear policy on regional tension
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that Pakistan and Afghanistan are at war and Iran is under attack of Israeli and US, adding that the situation is serious from all sides, the unity of the Muslim world is being hit hard, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Talking to the media outside Parliament House, JUI Chief said that Iran was giving befitting reply to aggression.
At this time, the Islamic world is burning. Where does Pakistan stand in the current situation is an important question.
JUI suggested the government to convene an in-camera joint session of Parliament on the current situation. He demanded that Pakistan's internal and international policy should be clear.
Fazl said that Iran was giving the impression that its intentions have not changed after the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader. He said the effects of the Iran war are spreading to the Islamic world.
JUI chief said he visited the Iranian embassy to offer my condolences, adding that JUI does not believe in any sect distinction.
