Steady rise in coronavirus cases, deaths in Pakistan

There was a steady rise in the number of coronavirus cases and deaths in the country with the confirmed patients early Sunday jumped to 19,103 and fatalities to 440.
According to National Command and Operation Centre, 989 cases were reported from across the country in the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 19,103.
These include 7,106 cases in Punjab, 7,102 in Sindh, 2,907 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,172 in Balochistan, 356 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 393 in Islamabad Capital Territory and 67 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
With 23 coronavirus deaths in last 24 hours in the country, the total number of deaths has reached 440 with 122 in Sindh, 120 in Punjab, 172 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, four in Islamabad, 19 in Balochistan, three in Gilgit Baltistan.
According to the NCOC, 4,817 patients have so far recovered while 13,846 patients are still under treatment at various hospitals, with 147 patients critical.
The country has conducted 203,025 coronavirus tests so far.
