5.7-strong earthquake jolts parts of Pakistan

Earthquake tremors were felt Wednesday in different parts of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 5.7 on the Richter scale.

The depth of the earthquake was 187 kilometers underground. The epicenter of the earthquake was the Hindu Kush region.

The earthquake tremors were felt in Mardan, Takhtbhai, Swabi, Nowshera, Peshawar, Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
