Gold price surges by Rs 1,300 per tola in Pakistan

The price of 24-karat gold on Monday increased by Rs1,300 per tola to Rs423,862 as compared to Rs422,562 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,115 to Rs363,393, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs1,022 to Rs333,122.
The price of international gold also climbed by $13 to $4,015 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the rate of silver per tola advanced by Rs 25 to Rs 5,152, and the price of 10 grams of silver increased by Rs 22 to Rs 4,417. The international silver price rose by $0.25 to $48.90 per ounce, the association reported.
